Shipping & Refund Policy


To understand the shipment methods CBS uses, Please bear in mind certain principles when you place your order. 

We dispatch your merchandise in 7-10 days from the date you place an order on our website

From the time your order is dispatched from our Order Processing Center, it takes between 2 – 7 working days to reach you.

Delivery Area

For Delivery in India:
CBS delivers to most locations within India. 

For Delivery Overseas:
CBS delivers to most countries outside India. 

Delivery methods
CBS dispatches all parcels using a courier chosen according to your order or the type of products sold on companybrandstore.com to offer you a fast and reliable delivery service. With this service, your parcel is delivered within 2 – 7 working days of being dispatched.

Delivery charges
The shipping charge is based on the weight of the product. For multiple products ordered from the same category the programme adds up the weight of all the units ordered and charges a single delivery fee. 

Thus, a customer who orders three books weighing 200gms, 250gms and 400gms is charged a single delivery fee of a consignment weighing more than 500gms but less than one kg. The customer is not charged for three different consignments weighing less than 500gms each. Thus the customer will pay a delivery fee of Rs 85 for ordering the three books as a single order instead of Rs 142 if he orders them separately.

However, the delivery fee is calculated separately when a customer orders different products. Thus, if a customer orders a Pearl Set and Shirts he will pay separate delivery charges for each product. This is because the products are being sourced and shipped from different cities.

The minimum weight taken into account is 250gms (only for documents) for domestic shipments and 500gms for international shipments. There is a parcel surcharge applicable for the consignments other than documents irrespective of weight of the shipments in case of international deliveries.

The weight of the product has been built in into the delivery charge of each product. This will automatically be added to the product cost at the payment stage. The delivery cost of a consignment weighing 3 Kg to be shipped within India will be = INR 165.

The delivery charge is arrived at by multiplying the weight of the product with the slab rate. Thus, the delivery cost of a consignment weighing 3 Kg to USA will be (789+(5*213)) = INR 1854. 

Delivery problems
Despite our best efforts and those of our courier, certain issues can arise before your parcel is delivered. In order to guarantee you a quality service, CBS promises to do its best to find the causes and resolve the problem in a timely manner.

» What should I do if I cannot track my order online? 
Once your parcel has been dispatched, an email containing your parcel information is sent to you automatically. If you are unable to view any information regarding your parcel, we recommend that you contact us so we can follow up on your order.

» What happens if I am not available to receive my parcel?
Should you not be present when our courier attempts to deliver your parcel, our courier partner makes attempts to reach you via a phone call and SMS. Please ensure that you take calls from our courier partner to facilitate delivery of your package. A second attempt will automatically be made within 24 hours. After the second attempt, our courier will hold on to your parcel for 3 days awaiting further instructions from the recipient before returning your parcel to us.

Once the parcel has been sent back to us, you must wait until it arrives in our Order Processing Center. At this time you will automatically receive an email asking you if you would like us to resend your parcel .We will hold the parcel for you at our Order Processing Center for a week from the time we send you an email. If we do not hear from you in this timeframe we will need to cancel your order. 

Please note the shipment cost for resending the parcel will be borne by the customer.

» What should I do if I receive a damaged parcel?

Please do not  accept any parcel in case the packaging appers damaged or temperd with.

All parcels are guaranteed to be in perfect condition when they are dispatched from our Order Processing Center, complete with security tape that should be visible and intact.

» I have received a defective item or my order is incorrect

If you notice that the items you’ve received are faulty or if your parcel does not contain the items you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the parcel,on the contact no provided or via an email to online@consortiumgifts.com


When will I get my refund?

Customer’s refund will happen as per the below mentioned timelines. Please note that the refunds are dependent on external agencies such as banks, payment gateways and external couriers (for cheques).

Debit card/credit card/netbanking

I paid cash on delivery, how would I get the refund?

If the mode of payment was cash on delivery (COD), we will initiate a NEFT bank transfer to Customer’s bank account. CBS.com will contact Customers for Customer’s bank account details. It normally takes 7-10 days for Customer’s money to get reflected in Customer’s bank account. Customers may also choose to have the amount refunded in CBS.com Cash (CBS Credit) so Customers can purchase any product from CBS.com without any hassles.


What about my refund after cancellation?

We take anywhere from 7-15 working days to complete Customer’s refund request. The refund amount will be credited in the same account as Customers had made the payment from. Refunds can also be made in CBS.com Cash (CBS Credit) which Customers can use to purchase any other product from CBS.com.com or an NEFT transfer to Customer’s bank account


How will I get a refund for the product I cancelled or returned?

For returned products, we will first try to find a replacement for it. If we cannot, we will initiate a refund.

For both cancelled orders and returned products, Customers will either receive a cheque from us or the refund amount will be credited back into the same account (online banking, credit card, debit card) that Customers used to make the purchase. Customers may also opt for CBS Credit if interested. A cheque will be issued to Customers in case of cash-on-delivery payments.


I paid the amount upfront while purchasing product from CBS.com, how do I get the refund?

In case of prepaid orders (paid through credit card/debit card/netbanking), the amount is refunded in the same account as Customers had made payment from within 7-10 working days. Customers may also choose to have the amount refunded in CBS.com Cash (CBS Credit) so Customers can purchase any product from CBS.com without any hassles.


What are the details Customers require to process NEFT refund?

Once Customers agree for NEFT refund, Customers will receive an email from CBS.com customer support team asking for Bank Name, Account Number, Account Holder’s name, IFSC code and Location of the bank. We initiate refund process as soon as we receive the details from Customers and it takes 7-10 working days for the money to be credited to Customer’s account.


Can I ask for NEFT refund if I paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Netbanking?

We are sorry, in case Customers paid via credit card/debit card/netbanking, the amount will be refunded in the same account as the one Customers made payment from. However, Customers can opt for this if Customers made the payment through COD (Cash on Delivery).


What is the Refund Policy for CBS Credit?

In case Customers have used CBS Credit with multiple expiry dates to place an order and the order is partially/fully cancelled, the CBS Credit with the farthest expiration date will be refunded first and then the second farthest and so on.
